Creating Member Close Instructions
The Member Close Messaging - New/Update window lets you create or maintain instructional messages that can appear for each panel on the Member Close dialog box. You can define instructions for each branch or use branch 000 to display your instructions across all credit union branches.
To access the Member Close Messaging - New/Update window, click Customization under the Administration menu on the Portico Explorer Bar. On the Customization menu bar, click Processes, then click Member Close Messaging. On the Member Close Messaging - List window, click New to define new instructions for a panel, or display the instruction list for a specific panel or branch and click the panel to update the existing instructions.

To create instructional messages for all credit union branches, leave the Branch field set to branch 000. Click the down arrow to select a specific branch.
From the Member Close Panel drop-down list select the panel to display the instructions. Then, enter the instructions in the Message box.
You can also add a link to a file or website. In the File Location field, enter the location of credit union documentation that can assist the employee. In the Internet Link Location, enter a fully qualified URL address.
Click Save to save the customized instructions. The new instructional message will appear in the instructional message list on the Member Close Messaging - List window. On the Member Close dialog box, the instructions and link(s) will appear in the bottom left corner of the dialog box when the panel is selected.
Click Cancel to disregard your changes and close the window.
