Adding a New Station ID

The Station ID Information window lets you add, maintain or delete a station ID. To open the Station ID Information window, under Administration on the Portico Explorer Bar, click Security. On the Security top menu bar, click Workstation, then click Station IDs. The Station IDs - List window appears.

  • To search for a specific station ID, enter the station ID and click Search.
  • Click the station ID to display the Station ID Information window.
  • To create a new station ID profile by copying an existing ID, select the ID and click Copy. Select an ID from the Copy Station ID drop-down list and click the green arrow.
  • Click New to create a new station ID profile.

To view an existing station ID profile, click the Station ID down arrow to select a station ID from the drop-down list. Then, click the green arrow.

Click New to add a new station ID.

To add a new station ID, complete the following steps:

  1. Enter a station ID up to 8 alphanumeric characters in the Station ID field. This is a required field.
  2. The Status field will default to Active, but you can click the down arrow to select a different status.
  3. In the Name field, enter the name associated with the station. Length: 25 alphanumeric. This is a required field.
  4. In the Location field, enter the location within the credit union branch of the station. Length: 8 alphanumeric.
  5. Enter the 2 alphanumeric character swap group associated with the station in the Swap Group field.
  6. Select the PNG Print check box if the workstation uses Portico's print functionality.
  7. Select the Suspend Check check box to suspend check printing from the workstation.
  8. Select the Suspend Audit check box to suspend audit report printing from the workstation.
  9. Click Save to save the station ID information.

Click Cancel to cancel any changes and close the window.

To delete a station ID, click Delete.

The Last Change group box displays the date the station information was last changed and the user ID of the person who changed the station information.

The Sign On group box displays the last date and time a user signed on to the station.

The printer assignments listed must be maintained on the Print Profile dialog box at the user workstation to ensure print information is routed to the correct printer.
