Viewing the CTR Batch Status
You can view the status of a batch on the CTR eFiling – Batch Maintenance window. To access the CTR eFiling – Batch Maintenance window, click CTR Processing within the BSA Reporting menu on the Portico Explorer Bar. On the CTR Processing menu, click Actions, then click Batch Maintenance.

You can search for a batch by the individual who created the batch, the status, batch number, tracking number, filing name and the date range the batch was created, submitted or accepted. Click Search to view the filed and pending batches. You can refine your search using the Selection Criteria group box.
- To search by the user who filed the CTR batch, select the user from the Filed Bydrop-down list.
- To search by the CTR batch status, select Filed or Pending eFile from the Status drop-down list.
- To search by the system-assigned batch number, enter the number in the Batch Number field (Length: 9 numeric).
- To search by the tracking number assigned to the batch, enter the tracking number in the Tracking Number field (Length: 12 alphanumeric).
- To search by the system-assigned, enter the name in the Filing Name field (Length: 12 alphanumeric).
- To search for batches that created, submitted or accepted during a specific date range, in the Date group box, click the Created option to search by creation date, click the Submitted option to search by submission date or click the Accepted option to search by the accepted date. Then, click the Begin down arrow to select the beginning date from the pop-up calendar or enter the date in MM/DD/YYYY format. Click the End down arrow to select the ending date from the pop-up calendar or enter the date in MM/DD/YYYY format.
Click Search to view the filed and pending batches. Click Reset to clear the Selection Criteria group box.
Select a page from the Page drop-down list to review a specific page. Click the single left and right arrows to scroll through the results page by page, or click the left and right double arrows to go to the first and last page of the results.

Batch Number |
The system-assigned batch number. Length: 9 numeric |
Created | The date the batch was created. |
Submitted | The date the batch was submitted. System default is the current date. |
Status |
The status of the batch: Pending eFile or Filed. When the status of the batch changes, the status of all CTR’s in the batch changes. When initially created, the batch status is Pending eFile. Once the eFile is accepted by the BSA (via email notification), enter the accepted date in the Accepted column. Portico will change the status from Pending eFile to Filed. The filing method on all CTR’s in the batch will change to BSA EFiling Batch. |
Tracking ID |
The tracking ID provided on the BSA website when the batch is submitted. Length: 12 alphanumeric |
Filing Name |
The system-assigned file name. Length: 12 alphanumeric |
Accepted | Once the eFile is accepted by the BSA (via email notification), enter the accepted date in the Accepted column. Portico will change the status from Pending eFile to Filed. The filing method on all CTR’s in the batch will change to BSA EFiling Batch. |

To delete a batch, select the check box next to the batch, then click Delete.
