Cash Device Portico-Lutzwolf Interface
The Portico-Lutzwolf interface works with ARCA, Diebold, and Glory (formerly Talaris) cash recycler and cash dispenser devices, and NCR cash recycler devices. The Portico-Lutzwolf interface also works with Instachange and Telequip coin dispensers
The Portico-Lutzwolf interface for cash recyclers provides the following features and benefits:
- Provides administrative control of the recycler.
- Automates balancing.
- Provides multiple security levels and inventory controls.
- Permits teller override for manually changing the bill mix.
- Includes ability to add/remove cash to the recycler without balancing the tellers or the recycler.
- Provides ability to change the automix for any denomination.
- Provides credit union members added convenience and service by speeding the process of receiving/dispensing cash and dispensing coins.
- Reduces security risk.
- Offers additional control while receiving/dispensing funds, including record keeping for balancing tellers and vault.
- Improves teller efficiency by automating manual dispensers and eliminating key strokes and time spent entering information using two separate computers or keypads.
- Reduces time spent balancing the teller line drawers by providing detailed records.
- Provides a detailed journal that records every recycler transaction.
- Supports a holdup dispense option:
- If your credit union is faced with a robbery, you can press CTRL+H on your keyboard at any location within Portico. Portico will check the current cash device inventory and dispense your workstation-defined holdup bill mix, if available. If not available, Portico will dispense your credit union-defined holdup bill mix. If a bill mix has not been defined, Portico will dispense 5 bills of each available denomination in the cash device. (ARCA, Diebold, or Glory (formerly Talaris) devices). The CTRL+H command may be used unlimited times if necessary.
- In addition, cash devices Glory TS2 and TCD9000 have the ability to send a silent alarm to law enforcement to notify law enforcement of a robbery at your credit union. Credit unions using Glory TS2 and TCD9000 devices can choose to use both the silent alarm and holdup dispense options, or only one of the options. The silent alarm must be set up by a Glory technician working with the alarm company.

The Portico legacy cash dispenser interface works with Diebold or Glory (formerly Talaris) TCD9000 dispensers and provides the following features and benefits:
- Provides administrative control of the dispenser.
- Interfaces with Diebold or Glory TCD9000 dispensers.
- Automates balancing.
- Provides multiple security levels and inventory controls.
- Permits teller override for manually changing the bill mix.
- Includes ability to add cash to the dispenser without balancing the tellers or the dispenser.
- Provides ability to change the automix for any denomination.
- Provides credit union members added convenience and service by speeding the process of dispensing cash and coins.
