You can switch from the private to public network and vice versa using the Application Profile dialog box. Click Tools, then click Connectivity to open the Application Profile dialog box.

How do I? and Field Help
Click the Private or Public option to change your network connectivity. Click Test to test the network connectivity using your latest Application Profile settings. Click Cancel to cancel the connectivity test.
Portico will automatically switch the communication between private and/or public network connectivity during an interruption. If your default access type is Private and no connection is available, Portico will automatically switch your workstation to Public and vice versa. When the switch occurs, you must verify the transaction has been processed before continuing. The next time you log into Portico, the system will use the default access type as the network connection.
The Addition Details box displays the additional details and error messages relating to the connection test.
