To set up and use Contact Manager and Event Tracking, you must first assign the Contact Manager security groups to one or more of your Portico users.

  1. On the Portico Explorer Bar, select Security from the Administration menu. On the Security menu bar, select User Maintenance, then select Users
  2. On the Users - List window, select the users that will be using the functionality. Then, select the security groups button.
  3. On the Security Groups window, select the desired security groups from the Not a member of these user groups list box, then select the left arrow. Select the Save button to file your changes.
  4. The users must now sign off and back in to Portico.

The user groups for Contact Manager and Event Tracking are as follows:

  • ContactManager - User
  • ContactManager – Supervisor
  • ContactManager - Administrator (View Only)
  • ContactManager – Administrator
  • EventTracking - User
  • EventTracking - Administrator

You can add or remove the permissions from any of these user groups with the User Group Permissions – Update window.
