The Cross Sell Plan - Member window lets you set up the member criteria for a cross sell plan.

To open the Cross Sell Plan - Member window, under Cross Sell on the Portico Explorer Bar, click Administration. On the Administration top menu bar, click Plans, point to Cross Sell Plans and click Targeted. The Cross Sell Plan - List window appears. Select a cross sell plan from the list and click Member.

The following member options can be set up to include or exclude specific members from a cross sell plan:

  • Select the Do not include Bankrupt check box to exclude bankrupt members from the cross sell plan. If the Bankrupt field on the Ownership Information tab is a value other than No, or if the Bankrupt is checked on the Legal/Bankruptcy tab, then the member is considered bankrupt and will be excluded from the cross sell plan.
  • Select the Do not include Dormant check box to exclude dormant members from the cross sell plan. If the Dormant Account check box is checked on the Contact Information tab, the member is considered dormant and will be excluded from the cross sell plan.
  • Select the Do not include Deceased check box to exclude deceased members from the cross sell plan. If the Deceased Member check box is checked on the Contact Information tab, the member is considered deceased and will be excluded from the cross sell plan.
  • Select the Do not include Employees check box to exclude credit union employees from the cross sell plan. If the Account Restriction field is CU Employee-Restricted on the Contact Information tab, the member is considered a credit union employee and will be excluded from the cross sell plan.
  • Select the Do not include New Members check box to exclude new members from the cross sell plan. In the Within days field, enter the number of days since the member's join date that the new member will be excluded from the cross sell plan (Length: 3 numeric). If the difference between the current date and the date in the Date Joined field on the Contact Information tab is less than the value in the Within days field, the member will be excluded from the cross sell plan. The Within days field is disabled until the Do not include New Members check box is selected.
  • Select the Scores Less Than check box to exclude members who have a credit score or bankruptcy score less than or equal the score specified.
    • In the Soft Pull Scores group box, enter the maximum soft pull credit score that will determine if the member is excluded from the cross sell plan in the Credit Score field (Length: 5 numeric). The credit score specified is compared to the soft pull score on the Ownership Information tab. If the member has a soft pull credit score less than or equal to the score specified, the member will be excluded from the targeted cross sell plan.
    • In the Hard Pull Scores group box, enter the maximum hard pull credit score that will determine if the member is excluded from the cross sell plan in the Credit Score field (Length: 5 numeric). The credit score specified is compared to the hard pull score on the Ownership Information tab. If the member has a hard pull credit score less than or equal to the score specified, the member will be excluded from the cross sell plan. In the Bankruptcy Score field, enter the maximum bankruptcy score that will determine if the member is excluded from the cross sell plan (Length: 4 numeric). The bankruptcy score specified is compared to the score on the Ownership Information tab. If the member has a bankruptcy score less than or equal to the score specified, the member will be excluded from the cross sell plan.

The Indicators tab contains additional member criteria.

  • Select the Mail check box to include or exclude members with specific credit union-defined Mail codes. Then, enter the credit union-defined mail codes (Length: 1 alphanumeric). Click the Include option to include members with the specified Mail codes. Click the Do Not Include option to exclude members with the specified Mail codes. Evaluation is based on the Mail Code field on the Stmts/Reporting/Notices tab.
  • Select the Special Use check box to include or exclude members with specific credit union-defined Special Use codes. Then, enter the special use codes (Length: 2 alphanumeric). Click the Include option to include members with the specified Special Use codes. Click the Do Not Include option to exclude members with the specified Special Use codes. Evaluation is based on the Special Use field on the Stmts/Reporting/Notices tab.
  • Select the Special Handling check box to include or exclude members with specific credit union-defined Special Handling codes. Then, enter the credit union-defined Special Handling codes (Length: 1 alphanumeric). Click the Include option to include members with the specified Special Handling codes. Click the Do Not Include option to exclude members with the specified Special Handling codes. Evaluation is based on the Special Handling field on the Stmts/Reporting/Notices tab.
  • Select the Status check box to include or exclude members with specific credit union-defined Status codes. Then, enter the credit union-defined status codes (Length: 1 alphanumeric). Click the Include option to include members with the specified Status codes. Click the Do Not Include option to exclude members with the specified Status codes. Evaluation is based on the Status field on the Ownership Information tab.
  • Select the Miscellaneous check box to include or exclude members with specific credit union-defined Miscellaneous codes. Then, enter the credit union-defined miscellaneous codes (Length: 1 alphanumeric). Click the Include option to include members with the specified Miscellaneous codes. Click the Do Not Include option to exclude members with the specified Miscellaneous codes. Evaluation is based on the Miscellaneous field on the Ownership Information tab.
  • Select the Ownership Code check box to include or exclude members with specific account ownership codes. Then, enter the ownership codes (Length: 1 alphanumeric). Click the Include option to include members with the specified ownership codes. Click the Do Not Include option to exclude members with the specified ownership codes. Evaluation is based on the Account Ownership field on the Contact Information tab.
  • Select the Statement Sort check box to include or exclude members with specific Statement Sort options. Then, enter the statement sorting options (Length: 15 alphanumeric). Click the Include option to include members with the specified Statement Sort codes. Click the Do Not Include option to exclude members with the specified Statement Sort codes. Evaluation is based on the Statement Sort field on the Stmts/Reporting/Notices tab.
  • Select the Direct Deposit check box to include or exclude members with direct deposit. Click the Include option to include members with direct deposit. Click the Do Not Include option to exclude members with direct deposit. Evaluation is based on the Direct Deposit check box on the ACH tab.
  • Select the Invalid Address check box to include or exclude members with an invalid address. Click the Include option to include members with an invalid address. Click the Do Not Include option to exclude members with an invalid address. Evaluation is based on the Address is Invalid check box on the Contact Information tab.

When setting up your options in the Include/Do not include group box, keep in mind that the qualifying criteria is evaluated based on an OR condition. For example, if you click the Include option for both the Mail and Special Use criteria, the member must have either the Mail code specified OR the Special Use code specified to qualify for the cross sell plan.

 

The Fees/Flags tab list all the flags from the Fees, Flags and Counters dialog box. The Fees/Flags tab will display any credit union-customized field names from the Fees, Flags and Counters dialog box. Select the Flag check box, then click the Include option to include members with the flag, or click the Do Not Include option to exclude members with the flag.

 

The Electronic tab contains the available statement and notice options, plus Mobile Money, Person to Person Payments, MyMoney, Account to Account Transfer and options for blank email addresses.

Cross Sell Member - Update - Electronic

  • Select the Statement Media check box to include or exclude members based on the type of statement they receive. Then, select the Hard Copy check box to include or exclude members if they receive hard copy statements. Select the Electronic check box to include or exclude members if they receive electronic statements. Click the Include option to include members with the specified statement type. Click the Do Not Include option to exclude members with the specified statement type. Evaluation is based on the Statement Media field on the Stmts/Reporting/Notices tab.
  • Select the Certificates check box to include or exclude members based on the type of certificate notices they receive. Then, select the Hard Copy check box to include or exclude members if they receive hard copy notices. Select the Electronic check box to include or exclude members if they receive electronic notices. Or select the Both check box to include or exclude members if they receive both hardcopy and electronic notices. Click the Include option to include members with the specified notice type. Click the Do Not Include option to exclude members with the specified notice type. Evaluation is based on the Certificates field on the Stmts/Reporting/Notices tab.
  • Select the NSF/Overdraft check box to include or exclude members based on the type of NSF/Overdraft notices they receive. Then, select the Hard Copy check box to include or exclude members if they receive hard copy notices. Select the Electronic check box to include or exclude members if they receive electronic notices. Or select the Both check box to include or exclude members if they receive both hardcopy and electronic notices. Click the Include option to include members with the specified notice type. Click the Do Not Include option to exclude members with the specified notice type. Evaluation is based on the NSF/Overdraft field on the Stmts/Reporting/Notices tab.
  • Select the Tax Forms check box to include or exclude members based on the type of Tax Form notices they receive. Then, select the Hard Copy check box to include or exclude members if they receive hard copy notices. Select the Electronic check box to include or exclude members if they receive electronic notices. Or select the Both check box to include or exclude members if they receive both hardcopy and electronic notices. Click the Include option to include members with the specified notice type. Click the Do Not Include option to exclude members with the specified notice type. Evaluation is based on the Tax Form field on the Stmts/Reporting/Notices tab.
  • Select the Lending check box to include or exclude members based on the type of lending notices they receive. Then, select the Hard Copy check box to include or exclude members if they receive hard copy notices. Select the Electronic check box to include or exclude members if they receive electronic notices. Or select the Both check box to include or exclude members if they receive both hardcopy and electronic notices. Click the Include option to include members with the specified notice type. Click the Do Not Include option to exclude members with the specified notice type. Evaluation is based on the Lending field on the Stmts/Reporting/Notices tab.
  • Select the Member check box to include or exclude members based on the type of member notices they receive. Then, select the Hard Copy check box to include or exclude members if they receive hard copy notices. Select the Electronic check box to include or exclude members if they receive electronic notices. Or select the Both check box to include or exclude members if they receive both hardcopy and electronic notices. Click the Include option to include members with the specified notice type. Click the Do Not Include option to exclude members with the specified notice type. Evaluation is based on the Member field on the Stmts/Reporting/Notices tab.
  • Select the Mobile Banking check box to include or exclude members with mobile banking. Click the Include option to include members with mobile banking, or click the Do Not Include option to exclude members with the mobile banking. Evaluation is based on the Mobile Banking check box on the Stmts/Reporting/Notices tab.
  • Select the Account to Account Transfer check box to include or exclude members with Account to Account Transfer. Click the Include option to include members with Account to Account Transfer, or click the Do Not Include option to exclude members with the Account to Account Transfer. Evaluation is based on the Account to Account Transfer check box on the Stmts/Reporting/Notices tab.
  • Select the MyMoney check box to include or exclude members with MyMoney. Click the Include option to include members with MyMoney, or click the Do Not Include option to exclude members with the MyMoney. Evaluation is based on the My Money check box on the Stmts/Reporting/Notices tab.
  • Select the Person to Person Payments check box to include or exclude members that use Person to Person (P2P) payments. Click the Include option to include members that use Person to Person (P2P) payments, or click the Do Not Include option to exclude members that use Person to Person (P2P) payments. Evaluation is based on the Person to Person Payments check box on the Stmts/Reporting/Notices tab.
  • Select the Personal Financial Manager check box to include or exclude members with personal financial manager. Click the Include option to include members with personal financial manager, or click the Do Not Include option to exclude members with the personal financial manager. Evaluation is based on the Personal Financial Manager check box on the Stmts/Reporting/Notices tab.
  • Select the E-Mail is blank check box to include or exclude members with a blank E-Mail field on the Contact Information tab. Click the Include option to include members with a blank E-Mail field , or click the Do Not Include option to exclude members with blank E-Mail field. Evaluation is based on the E-Mail field on the Contact Information tab.
  • Select the E-Mail1 is blank check box to include or exclude members with a blank E-Mail1 field on the Contact Information tab. Click the Include option to include members with a blank E-Mail1 field , or click the Do Not Include option to exclude members with blank E-Mail1 field. Evaluation is based on the E-Mail1 field on the Contact Information tab.
  • Select the E-Mail2 is blank check box to include or exclude members with a blank E-Mail2 field on the Contact Information tab. Click the Include option to include members with a blank E-Mail2 field , or click the Do Not Include option to exclude members with blank E-Mail2 field. Evaluation is based on the E-Mail2 field on the Contact Information tab.

Click Apply to apply the member criteria. Portico will review the information for errors. If no errors are found, Portico will save the member criteria. If errors are found, an error message will appear prompting you to correct the necessary fields.

Click Cancel to close the window without saving the member criteria.

Use the navigation drop-down list in the upper right corner of the Cross Sell Plan - Member window to transfer to other Cross Sell Plan windows and set up additional plan options.
