Using the Cross Sell Assignments Queue

Keep up with your cross sell referral follow-ups with the Cross Sell - Assignments Queue window. The Cross Sell - Assignments Queue window automatically appears when your click Tracking in the Cross Sell menu on the Portico Explorer Bar. You can also click Assignments Queue from the Actions menu to access the Cross Sell - Assignments Queue window.

How do I? and Field Help

Only referrals that are not sold or voided will appear on the Cross Sell - Assignments Queue window. To display referrals assigned to a specific employee or department:

  • Select the Employee option, then click the down arrow to select the employee and click the green arrow.
  • Select the Department option, then click the down arrow to select the department and click the green arrow.
  • Select the Virtual Branch check box to display referrals associated with plans offered via Virtual Branch Online Banking.

Select the check box next to the referral to assign it to another user, sell the product or service or decline the product or service. Click the All button to select all the check boxes. Click the All button again to clear all the check boxes.

Click the member information icon to display the Contact Information dialog box.

Follow-up

The date you should follow-up with the referral.

Referral Date

The date of the original referral.

Member Number

The account number associated with the member.

Member Name

The name associated with the member number.

Product

The product or service that is being referred to the member.

Est. Amount

The estimated amount if the product or service referred to the member is sold.

Referred By

The department the referral is assigned to.

Assigned To

The individual the referral is assigned to. This is the name from the Referred By field on the Referral – New/Update window.

You can select a default department that will send all referrals tied with a cross sell plan to the department’s Assignments Queue using the Department drop-down list on the Special Offer – New/Update and Opportunity – New/Update window.

Click the member icon to display the Member Information tabs.

To assign the referral to another user, select the check box next to the referral, then click the Assign To down arrow to select a user, and click Submit.

To sell a product or service to the member, select the referral, then click the sale shopping bag icon. The appropriate Portico window or dialog box will appear to let you complete the sale. The sale will automatically be recorded in Cross Sell. You can view the sale information from the Sale History window.

If the member declined the product or service, click the decline shopping bag icon to open the Decline - New window and enter new decline information.
