Adding the Cash Device - Lutwolf Interface

The Devices tab on the Device Configuration dialog box lists the cash devices set up for the credit union.

To open the Device Configuration dialog box, on the Portico Explorer Bar, click Products/Services from the Administration menu. On the Products/Services top menu, click Products, then click Device Configuration. The Device Configuration dialog box appears with the Device Controllers tab on top. Click the Devices tab.

Select the desired device controller from the Device Controller drop-down list.

Click Check For New Devices to list the devices in the Devices grid. The device type (recycler, dispense, alarm) and device starter appear in the Devices grid.

Complete the following information to configure the cash device.

1. In the Vault column, enter the vault location for the cash device.
2. Select the Enable check box to use the cash device. To take a cash device out of service temporarily, clear the Enable check box and click Save.
3. Select the Test check box and click Test to test the connection of Portico and the cash device. The Status field will indicate if the test connection failed or was successful with a date stamp.
4. Click Save to save your changes.

When the highlighted cash device is an RBG100 cash recycler, you can click the Optimize button to display the Optimal Level dialog box and define a unit cap for each cassette in the RBG100 cash recycler.

To delete a recycler, select the Delete check box and click Save.

Click Cancel to close the dialog box without saving your changes to the cash device.
