Email Messaging provides closer communication with your members through emails automatically triggered based on events and predetermined parameters. Email Messaging integrates with Contact Manager Event Tracking. Using Contact Manager Auto Generated Events, the system creates a history record to indicate when an email campaign includes a member.

The following emails are available for delivery:

  • New Member Welcome
  • New Member Follow-up
  • Member’s Birthday
  • Member’s Credit Union Anniversary Date
  • Member Turns Twenty-One (Or other special birthday)
  • Dormant Account
  • Number of Loan Payments Remaining
  • Past Due Loan

Using Reporting Analytics, queries containing both standard and credit union-defined criteria identify members that meet the email parameters. The system runs the queries daily, creates output files, and sends them to Acoustic, Portico's email marketing vendor, to generate the emails. Within Acoustic, your credit union can upload logos, define email subject lines, define the email from name, manage the suppression list, and review email access reports. To customize your mailing template, contact your Fiserv Relationship Manager. Portico automatically creates an event in Event Tracking for each member included in the email campaign.

You must have Reporting Analytics Service Level 2 Reporting Analytics: Automated Delivery for Portico, and Contact Manager with Event Tracking to use Email Messaging. The Dormant Account email also requires the Reporting Analytics Non-Financial database. A Portico Implementation team member guides you through the implementation process.
