Posting Online Share Draft Fees
The Share Draft Online Fees window lists the items and associated fees. You can post fees online, real-time as soon as you finish working the exceptions. Tellers and members will be able to see the fees and the actual available account balance on the same day the return is processed, instead of having to wait until the next morning after the nightly back-office cycle. Posting the fees should be the last step in working the exception items. Once the fees are posted, you cannot make changes to the items on the Share Draft Exception Items window.
To access the Share Draft Online Fees window, click Share Draft in the Operations menu on the Portico Explorer Bar. On the Share Draft top menu bar, click Exception Processing, then click Exception Items. Click the online fee icon button to transfer to the Share Draft Online Fees window.
How do I? and Field Help
If you are working multiple days at one time, the fees will appear in date order, then member number order. If a member has exceptions on multiple days, the member can appear on multiple pages.
Online fees are posted in reverse order, compared to fees posted in the back-office cycle. The back-office cycle posts zero fee amounts, then maximum fee amounts. Online fee processing posts maximum fee amounts, then zero fee amounts. In the back-office cycle, zero fee amounts are listed with check numbers, but maximum fee amounts do not list check numbers. With online fee processing, the maximum fee amount displays the first check number and all subsequent check numbers are listed with the zero fee amounts.
The Online Fees grid displays the exception items that you recently finished working and the associated fees. Click the Export icon to export the grid contents to Microsoft Excel. Click More to view additional fee records for the run date.

Once the Online Fees check box is selected, you can use Share Draft Online Fees the next day following the back-office cycle. If online fees are not processed after working all exception items, the share draft fees will be collected in the back-office cycle.
