Viewing the List of Safe Deposit Boxes

The Safe Deposit Box List dialog box lets you view the list of safe deposit boxes. You can search for safe deposit boxes by location, status, or size. You can access the Safe Deposit Box List - View dialog box from the menu bar by clicking View, then clicking Safe Deposit Boxes.

How do I? and Field Help

Click the green arrow to display the list of safe deposit boxes. Click the left and right arrow to scroll through additional safe deposit boxes.

To search by branch location, enter the credit union branch number where the safe deposit box is located in the Location field. Length: 3 numeric / Keyword: LO

To search by status, click the Box Status down arrow to select the safe deposit box status. The valid options are: Available, ReKey, In-use, Restricted, or Unusable. The system will change the box status to ReKey when you click Unassign on the Details tab on the Maintain Safe Deposit Box dialog box. Once the safe deposit box is rekeyed by the credit union, the user will need to change the box status to Available before assigning the box to another member.

To search by size, enter the credit union-defined size of the safe deposit box in the Box Size field. Length: 10 alphanumeric / Keyword: SZ

The Safe Deposit Box List - View dialog box provides a “view only” list of the boxes in the credit union. If the box rental fee has not been paid (past due), the information will appear in red. Click the left and right arrows to scroll through the list of safe deposit boxes.

Column Heading	Description
Location	The credit union branch number where the safe deposit box is located. Length: 3 numeric Keyword: LO
Box ID	The credit union-defined ID associated with the safe deposit box. Length: 6 alphanumeric Keyword: SB
Box Size	The credit union-defined size of the safe deposit box. Length: 10 alphanumeric Keyword: SZ
Box Status	The safe deposit box status. The valid options are: Available, ReKey, In-use, Restricted, or Unusable.
Key Status	The credit union-defined status of the key associated with the safe deposit box.
Standard Fee	The standard fee associated with the safe deposit box.
Std Fee Last Chg	The last date the standard rental fee was changed for a box.
Late Fee	The new standard late fee assessed for late payments for safe deposit boxes.
Late Fee Last Chg	The last date the standard late fee was changed for a box.
Member Number	The member number associated to the safe deposit box.
Member Name	The name of the member who rents the safe deposit box.
Member Fee	The member-specific rental fee from the Member field on the Maintain Safe Deposit Box dialog box.
Payment Method	The payment method selected by the box owner for rental payments.
Details	Click the button in the Details column to open the Assign/Maintain Safe Deposit Box dialog box.

If you accessed the Safe Deposit Box List - View dialog box from the menu bar by clicking View, then clicking Safe Deposit Boxes, click Maintain at the top of the grid to maintain the safe deposit box.

Click Save to save the safe deposit boxes.

Click Close to close the dialog box.

When assigning a safe deposit box, you can display the available safe deposit boxes by accessing the Safe Deposit Box List dialog box from Account Information. Under Member Services on the Portico Explorer Bar, click Account Information. The Overview tab appears on top. Locate the member using the search tool on the top menu bar. Select the down arrow to select the search method, then enter the search criteria. Select the green arrow or press ENTER to locate the member.

On the New Services sub-tab, click the Safe Deposit Box button. The Box Status field will indicate Available.
