Adjusting Cash and Checks Received
Click Adjust Teller Cash on the Balancing and Close tab to display the Teller Adjustment dialog box and increase or decrease the cash and checks received. The FinancialTxns – Check Cashing and Teller Cash Adjustment permission controls use of the Adjust Teller Cash button on the Balancing and Close tab. You must be logged in using the teller number in the Click to begin the Teller Close process field to use the Teller Adjustment dialog box.

How do I? and Field Help
The System Totals fields display the system-calculated checks received for deposit and the system-calculated cash balance of the drawer. To increase or decrease the cash and checks received:
- Click the Increase Cash/Decrease Checks Received option to increase the cash balance of the drawer and decrease the checks for deposit.
- Click the Increase Checks Received/Decrease Cash option to increase the checks for deposit and decrease the cash balance of the drawer.
Then, enter the amount of cash or checks received to increase in the Adjustment Amount field.
Click Submit to save the adjustment. Click Close to close the dialog box.
Teller Administration credit unions: If you make any changes to the fields on the Balancing and Close tab and do not click Save before clicking the Adjust Teller Cash button, your changes will be lost. We recommend that you submit any adjustments on the Teller Adjustment dialog box first, then adjust the fields on the Balancing and Close tab, and click Save.
