Troubleshooting

Question: You receive the following error when attempting a withdrawal transaction: E-IRA W/D CODE INVALID FOR MEMBER; SEE 426 “MISC DIST”. What happened?

Answer: When using withdrawal code 2 or 3, the Misc Distribution field on the IRA Profile dialog box must be 2 or 3.

 

Question: Federal withholding is not being calculated when attempting a withdrawal transaction. Why?

Answer: The Calculate Federal check box in the IRA section on the Credit Union Profile – Shares tab and Federal Withholding check box on the IRA Profile dialog box must be selected. If either is not selected, federal withholding will not be calculated.
