Understanding ATMs
Single-Point Settlement
Single-Point Settlement allows Fiserv Card Services to settle with each of the various networks based on established cut-off times. Then, the credit union balances the Network Cardholder Activity Report 904 and Network Date/Time Reconciliation Report 906 with the Fiserv Card Services settlement totals. Single-Point Settlement eliminates the confusion that accompanies attempting to determine end-of-day cut-off times for multiple networks.
Point-of-Sale (POS)
Portico’s Point-of-Sale (POS) support features true POS pre-authorizations and authorizations for all POS transactions and daily limits on POS withdrawals at the credit union or member level. Regulation E information can be printed on member statements, including merchant ID and merchant type.
Cross-Domain Capability
Cross-Domain Capability provides administrative-terminal functions through your Portico terminal. Your credit union can immediately help members who might be traveling and may not be able to receive money from their account. If the member calls your credit union, you can directly access their account to see what the problem might be without accessing an isolated or stand-alone terminal. You can hot card or delete a hot card for an account immediately, view a transaction performed at an ATM within the last three days, and view the current cash status of a Fiserv Card Services-driven ATM.
