Understanding the Account Listing and Indicators
The member account listing appears on the Overview tab, Transactions tab, and Adjustments tab.

How do I?
Shares and Certificates appear in the top half of the grid. Loans and Credit Cards appear in the bottom half of the grid. The first column indicates if the account is:
S - Share or Share Draft
C - Certificate
L - Loan
M - Mortgage
K - Credit Card
E - Student Loan
Click the share type, certificate number or loan note number to display the Maintenance and Inquiry dialog box for the account. Click the last non-financial activity date to display the Non-Financial History dialog box. Click the last transaction date to display the Share, Certificate, or Loan History dialog box for the account.
Several indicators appear on the Account Listing grid to provide an at-a-glance status of the member's accounts.
- Hold indicates that a share hold exists.
- -P indicates an ACH prenote and -HP indicates a share hold and an ACH prenote (on the summary grid on the Transactions tab). The Account Listing grid on the Overview tab will display Prenote for ACH prenote and Hld/Pre for a share hold and an ACH prenote. The ACH prenote indicator will appear in the Account Listing grid for 30 days. If a second prenote comes in before the end of the 30 days for the first prenote, the indicator will remaining in the Account Listing grid for 30 days from the date that the second prenote is received. The prenote indicator will appear next to the ACH share or share draft type depending on the ACH transaction code associated with the prenote:
- 23 or 28 - ACH share draft account
- 33 or 38 - ACH share account
- If a share account is closed, the word CLOSED will appear in the Description column next to the share type.
- PAID OFF will appear in the Description column for zero-balance, closed-end loans and for open-end loans with a zero-balance and valid date in the Date Closed field on the Loans - Credit Bureau tab.
- CHARGED OFF will appear in the Description column for an open-end or closed-end loan if the loan has a charged off loan type. If the loan has a charged off date, the CHARGED OFF indicator will appear on the Loans tabs (it does not need to be a charged off loan type).
- A promise indicator indicates that the member has agreed to pay a specific amount on a loan or deposit funds into a share account by a specified date. The tool tip provides the promise begin date, end date, promised payment/deposit amount. The following promise status indicators can appear:
- A - New Promise (blue solid)
- C - Promise Complete (green solid)
- P - Promise Partial (yellow solid)
- N - Promise Not Met (red solid)
- Credit union-defined status priority 2 (red with number)
- Credit union-defined status priority 4 (yellow with number)
- Credit union-defined status priority 6 (blue with number)
- Credit union-defined status priority 8 (green with number)
- The collections indicator indicates that a share, loan, or credit card is in Collections. A green C indicates the account has a positive balance or the loan is current. If the account has a negative balance or the loan is delinquent, the account displays a red C indicator.
- A stop pay indicator indicates that a share account has a stop pay.
- A combination collections and stop pay indicator indicates that a negative share is in Collections and the share account has a stop pay.
- Click the OD CP button to display the Overdraft Protection dialog box. CP indicates the member account is set up for Courtesy Pay.
- The unlabeled column after the Payment column displays the method of payment:
C - Cash
P - Payroll
A - Auto Transfer - The unlabeled column after the Due Date column displays the loan frequency if the account is a loan:
M - Monthly
SM - Semi-Monthly
BW - Bi-weekly
W - Weekly
T - Term or one time payment
SA - Semi-annually
A - Annually
Q - Quarterly - If the account is a credit card, B will appear in the unlabeled loan frequency column to indicate that a credit card is blocked.
- If there is a primary joint member, the primary joint’s name will appear at the top of the Account Listing, after the member number.
- When the member has a 360-day interest loan, the Payoff column will display a 0.00 button. You can click the 0.00 button to display the Loan Payoff dialog box and calculate the actual payoff amount using a specified number of days of interest, when required by the loan type.
- When a loan receives funds from a Transfer File automatic transfer, a Transfer File icon will appear.
- A past due loan will appear in red.
Click Account View to display all of the member's share and loan accounts.
Click Late Chrg/W/H View to display the prior year and life-to-date late charge amounts.
Click Div/Stmt to Date View to display the member's year-to-date, period-to-date, and life-to-date dividends and interest, and the member's statement-to-date interest, late charges, and fees for loans.
If a member has any closed share accounts, zero balance closed-end loans, and surrendered certificates, a Show All/Filter button appears on the grid. You can click Show All to displays or hide these accounts. The Show All Member Accounts check box on the User Profile - Preferences tab indicates if all member accounts should automatically appear or if closed share accounts, surrendered certificates, and paid off loans should be filtered from the Account Listing grid.
A Check Cashed button can appear indicating if the member has cashed a check within the last 9 days. Click the button to display the Check Cashing - History dialog box and view the list of checks cashed by the member.
Click the Documents Presented as ID icon button on the Transactions tab to display the Documents Presented as ID dialog box.
The Last Non Financial Activity date button indicates the last date non-financial maintenance was performed on the member's account. The By field indicates the teller ID of the teller who performed the non-financial maintenance. Click the date button to display the Non Financial History dialog box.
Important messages and alerts about a member can appear on the Transactions tab and Adjustments tab.
The Account Listing grid on the Overview tab will display the collections indicator and stop pay indicator to the right of the Last Txn column.
Account Listing - Shares/Certificates
The Shares/Certificates Account Listing provides a list of the member's share and certificate accounts. The following columns appear in the Shares/Certificates Account Listing grid:

The type of account this member owns. The valid types are S - Share account and C - Certificate account. |

The share type or certificate number. Click the share type or certificate number to display the Maintenance and Inquiry dialog box for the account. |

The description of the account. For example, Regular Shares, Money Market, 5-Yr CD, etc. If a share account is closed, the word CLOSED will appear in the Description column next to the share type. |

The certificate type if the account is a certificate account. Hold will appear in this column if there is a check hold present on the account. |
|
The current balance of the share or certificate account. Move your cursor over the balance for a negative share account to display a tooltip containing the date the account went negative and the number of days negative. |

The available balance in the share account. Portico calculates the available balance by subtracting the following amounts from the share balance: Minimum withdrawal balance specified in the Minimum Withdrawal Balance field on the Share Profiles - Account Information tab; Check hold and share pledged amounts; Debit card merchant authorized amounts; Accumulated or committed payroll distribution amounts; and Automatic transfer loan payment amounts. The Available column only appears if you click Account View. |

The number of period-to-date withdrawals on the account. If the account is a certificate, this field displays either the certificate's available date or maturity date.
The WDC/Avl or WDC/Mat column only appears if you select Account View. |

The joint name listed on the account. The Joint Name column only appears if you click Account View. The Member Number field and Priority field on the Account Relationships dialog box is used to determine the joint name that appears in the account listing and in documents generated through Document Preparation. Portico determines the joint name using the following criteria:
If a share type has more than one joint name associated with it, a multiple relationships indicator will appear in front of the joint name. |

The overdraft protection set up for this share account. Click the button in the OD Protection column to display the Overdraft Protection dialog box. The OD Protection column only appears if you click Account View. |

The date the last transaction occurred on this account. Dividend posting and insurance premiums posted in the back-office cycle will not update the last transaction date. Dividend corrections made using the Adjustments - Dividend Adjustment tab will not update the last transaction date. Click the last transaction date to display the Share or Certificate History dialog box for the account. |

A collections indicator will appear in this column if the account is in Collections. |

The last dividend amount paid on the account. The Last Div column only appears on the Overview tab if you click Dividends View. |

The total amount of interest paid on a certificate over the life of the certificate. Only certificates opened in 2008 and after will correctly reflect the life-to-date interest paid. The LTD Div column only appears on the Overview tab if you click Dividends View. |

The Federal withholding amount on the account. The Fed W/H column only appears on the Overview tab if you click Late Chrg/W/H View. |

The computer-assigned number of the last transaction performed on the account. The CAN column only appears on the Overview tab if you click Dividends View. |

The Loans Account Listing provides a list of the member's loan accounts. The following columns appear in the Loans Account Listing grid:

The loan note number or the last 4 digits of the member's credit card number. Click the loan note number to display the Maintenance and Inquiry dialog box for the loan. Reporting Analytics: Loan Type (Located in Loan/Member Loan History subject and History/Member Financial History subject) |

The loan type associated with the loan or credit card. |

The principal amount due on the loan or credit card account. For CSC, this value reflects the credit card balance received in the balance and status file. The Loans - General tab retrieves real-time data from CSC and may reflect a more up-to-date balance. Length: 12 numeric including decimal |

The scheduled payment amount on the loan or credit card account. For CSC, this value reflects the credit card payment amount received in the balance and status file. The method of payment for the loan. The valid options are: C - Cash P - Payroll deduction A - Automatic transfer |

The date the loan or credit card payment is due. New credit cards will have a blank due date until the first credit card statement is generated. For CSC and CPS, the due date received in the balance and status file will appear in the Due Date column when the card is not past due (delinquent). If the card is delinquent, Portico will calculate the past due date and display it in the Due Date column. |

The loan payment frequency for loan accounts. The valid options are: For CSC, B appears in this column when the credit card status balance and status file is other than blank. |

The amount of available credit on a credit card account or a line of credit loan. Move your cursor over the Available Credit column of a delinquent loan to display a tooltip containing the delinquent amount and the delinquent days. Note: The delinquent days will not appear for loans with Delinquency Method B. |

The total amount required to pay off the loan or credit card account as of today. The payoff amount includes the loan principal or credit card balance, interest due, and any late charges. The amount is calculated by the system. Length: 14 numeric including decimal |

The large icon buttons on the Overview tab, Transactions tab and Adjustments tab indicate the products and services a member has and lets you access dialog boxes to view or maintain these products and services.
If the member has an existing note, the Notepad icon button will feature an exclamation point. Click the icon button to display the Notes, Warnings and Alerts dialog box. If a note does not exist, the blank Notepad icon button appears. Click the icon button to add a new note.
Click the Check Cashed button to display the Check Cashing History dialog box and view the list of checks cashed by the member.
Click ACH and Share Draft Exception,
ACH Exception, or
Share Draft Exception button to display the ACH Exception Return History dialog box and/or Share Draft Exception/Return History dialog box.
If the member has any automated transfers, the Transfer File icon button will appear. Click the icon button to display the Member Transfer Summary dialog box.
Click the Share Draft Stop Pays button to display the Share Draft Stop Pays dialog box and view the list of share draft stop pays for the member. You can delete a share draft stop pay or add a share draft stop pay.
Click the ACH Stop Pays button to display the ACH Stop Pays dialog box and view the list of ACH stop pays for the member. You can delete an ACH stop pay or add an ACH stop pay.
On the Transactions tab and Adjustments tab, click the ACH/Share Draft Stop Pays button to display the combined Member Stop Pays dialog box.
Click the ACH Origination button to display the Member/GL Items dialog box and view the list of ACH origination items for the member.
If the member has ACH funds pending, the ACH pending icon button will appear. Click the ACH Pending button to display the member's Pending ACH dialog box.
If the member is set up on a payroll, the Payroll icon button will appear. Click the icon button to display the Payroll Information dialog box.
Click the Relationships button to display the Member Relationships dialog box and view the member's account co-owners. If the member is a co-borrower on a loan in Collections, the relationship indicator will change depending on the status of the associated account. If a relationship is added to an account in Collections, the relationships icon will not reflect the Collections relationship until the following day.
- If the associated account is in Collections and is delinquent, a red C will appear on the relationships icon. The associated account will appear in red and a red C will appear in the Account ID and Description column on the Member Relationships dialog box.
- If the associated account is in Collections and is current, the standard relationships icon will appear. The associated account will appear with a green C in the Account ID and Description column on the Member Relationships dialog box.
Click the ATM button to display the ATM Card Maintenance dialog box and maintain the member's ATM card options, issue an ATM card, and change an ATM card status.
Click the Debit Card button to display the Debit Card Maintenance dialog box and maintain the member's debit card options, issue a debit card, and change a debit card status.
On the Transactions tab and Adjustments tab, if the member has an ATM or debit card, the ATM/Debit Card icon button will appear. Click the icon button to display the combined ATM/Debit Card Maintenance dialog box. The icon button will only appear if you are assigned to a security group with the MbrInfo – ATM Card – Maintain, MbrInfo – ATM Card – View Only, MbrInfo – Debit Card – Maintain, or MbrInfo – Debit Card – View Only permission.
If the member has online banking, audio response, and/or bill pay, a combination icon button will appear depending on the combination of the three services. Click the combination button to display the Self Service Associations dialog box and review the list of self service access options selected by the member.

Bill Pay button, or
Both button to display the Online Banking Maintenance dialog box for Online Banking, Bill Pay or Both and maintain the member's Online Banking and Bill Pay options.
Click the Audio Response button to display the Audio ID Maintenance dialog box and maintain the member's Audio Response options.
Click the Self Service Associations and Counters button to display the Self Service Information dialog box and review the list of self service access options selected by the member and the different types of self service transactions a member performed during a given period.
Click the Account Analysis button to display the Account Analysis dialog box and update a member's Account Analysis options.
Click the Safe Deposit Box button to display the Safe Deposit Box dialog box and view the safe deposit boxes rented by the member. A Late Safe Deposit Box icon will appear if the safe deposit box rental fee payment is past due.
Click the View Member Statement icon button to display the Statement Retrieval dialog box. The icon image will indicate whether the member has electronic statements or paper statements. The icon button will only appear if you are assigned to a security group with the ImagingReports – User Can Access Statements and/or ImagingReports – User Can Access Employee Statements permission.
