Application Profile - Web Services - Portico
The Web Services – Portico tab lets you set up the default settings for Portico access.

Select the Default Access Type down arrow to select the default connection: Private or Public. The system default is Private for new Portico workstations. The Session Access Type field indicates the connection (Private or Public) that is currently being used. Portico will automatically switch the communication between private and/or public network connectivity during an interruption. If your default access type is Private and no connection is available, Portico will automatically switch your workstation to Public and vice versa. When the switch occurs, you must verify the transaction has been processed before continuing. The next time you log into Portico, the system will use the default access type as the network connection.
In the Timeout field, enter the number of seconds of inactivity before the connection should timeout (Length: 3 numeric). The system default is 60 seconds.

Select the Enable Compression checkbox to allow the compression of information for faster data download.
Select Apply to apply your changes to the Application Profile settings. Select OK to accept your changes. Select Refresh to refresh the Application Profile settings. Select Cancel to close the dialog box without saving your changes.
