Viewing Transaction Attributes

The Transaction Attributes window displays each Teller Administration transaction and the required or allowed master codes for each transaction. This information will assist you in setting up the Transaction Definition window. To access the Transaction Attributes window, click Administration under Teller Management. On the Administration menu bar, click Transactions, then click Transaction Attributes. This window can also be accessed from the Administration – Products and Services – Products menu.

How do I?

To view the attributes for a specific transaction, click the Transaction down arrow to select the Portico Host Teller Administration transaction. Click the Click the Teller Admin Level down arrow and select Basic or Expanded. Then, click the green arrow to view the transaction attributes. Click the left and right arrow to scroll through the transactions.

• Basic - Uses Teller Administration-Basic. The credit union can sell money orders and traveler's checks, redeem U.S. Savings Bonds, use product codes instead of general ledger account numbers, clear on-us checks, and customize some Teller Administration transactions.
• Expanded - Uses Teller Administration-Expanded. The credit union can perform all the Teller Administration-Basic transactions plus balance batches of transactions and customize additional screens.

The Last Changed field indicates the last date changes were made to this transaction.

The Lines Per Page field tells you how many lines of product codes per page are available for the transaction. The lines per page vary by transaction. The system counts each product code, label, and total line. For example, the Transactions – Money Orders tab (ALM) has 6 lines per page, and the Transactions - Deposits, Withdrawals, Payments, Transfers tab (ALD) has 14. If you have more product codes than available lines, click the grid right arrow and continue adding on the next page. The maximum number of lines allowed on the screen for product codes are:

14 - ALA, ALD, ALR, and ALS Transactions

Field Help

The Transaction Attributes grid displays the following information:

Column Heading	Description
From Required Master	The master codes required in the From portion of the transaction.
From Transaction	The Host transaction codes required in the From portion of the transaction under the Required Master code.
From Protect Amount	If Yes, the From amount will be protected.
From Allowed Master	The master codes allowed in the From portion of the transaction.
From Transaction 2	The Host transaction codes allowed in the From portion of the transaction under the Allowed Master code.
To Required Master	The master codes required in the To portion of the transaction.
To Transaction	The Host transaction codes required in the To portion of the transaction under the Required Master code.
To Protect Amount	If Yes, the To amount will be protected.
To Allowed Master	The master codes allowed in the To portion of the transaction.
To Transaction 2	The Host transaction codes allowed in the To portion of the transaction under the Allowed Master code.
