How do I? and Field Help
To create or modify a branch profile on the Branch Profile - New/Update window, complete the following steps.
- Enter the 3 digit branch ID in the Branch ID field.
- In the Name field, enter the name of the branch.
- Click the Default Check Hold Type down arrow to select the default check hold type. If using IMM Teller Capture to clear on-us checks as a transit item, Portico will use the check hold type specified in the Default Check Hold Type field to determine the hold type if the check routing number matches the credit union's routing number and the On Us Check Processing field is O on the Credit Union Profile - Shares tab.
- Click the Check Signature Name down arrow to select the signature that should appear on credit union checks for the branch.
- Select the Include Operating Checks as Money Order check box to include credit union operating checks as money orders and display them in the money order detail journal. If not selected, credit union operating checks are identified as operating checks and will appear in the checks disbursed detail journal.
- Select the Replace "draft" with "check" label check box to replace the "draft" labels with a "check" label on receipts.
- Select the Print "No-Hold" for Checks Received check box to print "No-Hold" on receipts for checks received by the credit union.
- On the Branch Profile - New/Update window, click Apply, then click Save.
Click Cancel to reject your changes and close the Branch Profile window.
To access the Branch Profile window, users must be assigned to the pre-defined Portico - Profiles - Administrator or Portico - Profiles - View Only security groups or you can add these permissions to a credit union-defined security group using the Security Group Permissions – Update window.
