Setting Up a Virtual Branch Opportunity
The Virtual Branch – New/Update window lets you set up the text, and select images and response buttons for the opportunity.
To open the Virtual Branch – New/Update window, under Cross Sell on the Portico Explorer Bar, click Administration. On the Administration top menu bar, click Plans, point to Cross Sell Plans and click Targeted or Special Offers. The Cross Sell Plan - List or Special Offer Plan - List window appears. Select a cross sell plan or special offer from the list and click Incentive. Select a cross sell plan or special offer from the list and click Virtual Branch.

Complete the following steps to set up the Virtual Branch opportunity.
- From the Version drop-down list, select Virtual Branch to indicate that your credit union is using Virtual Branch online banking. Select Digital Momentum if your credit union is using Digital Momentum online banking.
- In the Summary group box, you can select what will appear on the member's Account Summary page.
- To display an image only, click the Image only option, then click the down arrow to select the image. Depending on the Version field, the drop-down list is populated with the 'Summary Image Only' image types or 'Digital Momentum Summary Image Only' image types from the Images window.
- To display an image and text, click the Image and Text option, then click the down arrow to select the image. Depending on the Version field, the drop-down list is populated with the 'Summary Image and Text' image types or 'Digital Momentum Summary Image and Text' image types from the Images window. In the Opportunity Text box, enter the ad copy or sales text. The characters remaining field indicates how many characters are available. For Virtual Branch, the maximum characters allowed is 60 characters. For Digital Momentum, a maximum of 110 characters can be entered in the Opportunity Text box.
- To display text only, click the Text Only option, then enter the ad copy or sales text in the Opportunity Text box. The characters remaining field indicates how many characters are available. For Digital Momentum, a maximum of 250 characters can be entered in the Opportunity Text box.
- Click Preview to see the sales offering you created.
- In the Detail group box, enter more information about the offering. When the member clicks on the offering on the Account Summary page, this detailed information will appear.
- In the Description field, enter a detailed description of the offering (Length: 120 alphanumeric).
- Click the Image down arrow to select an image for the offering. Depending on the Version field, the drop-down list is populated with the 'Detail Image' image types or 'Digital Momentum Detail Image' image types from the Images window.
- In the Opportunity Text box, enter the ad copy or sales text. The characters remaining field indicates how many characters are available.
- Select the In Use check boxes in the Customized Buttons grid to select which buttons will appear.
- Click Apply to apply the changes to the offering. Click Save to save the changes to the offering.
Click Cancel to cancel the changes.
Use the navigation drop-down list and green arrow in the upper right corner of the Virtual Branch - New/Update window to transfer to other Cross Sell Plan windows and set up additional plan options.
