Portico .Net Framework Verification and Install

The Portico .Net Framework Detector will verify that you are running the latest Microsoft .Net Framework required for Portico.

You can download the Portico .Net Framework Detector from the Software Downloads page on www.porticousers.com. Unzip the Portico .Net Framework Detector to the desktop of each PC. Then, double-click the icon to run the application.

The Portico .Net Framework Detector will display the installed versions. If the workstation meets the .Net Framework requirements, no additional steps are needed.

If the .Net Framework needs to be updated, a link to download the latest .Net Framework installation file from the Microsoft website will be provided.

Click the link to display the Microsoft website.

On the Microsoft website, click the Download button to download the installation file.

Click Run.

When the Setup dialog box appears, select the I have read… check box and click Install.

If the Portico .Net Framework Detector is still open, you will be prompted to close the program. Click Yes to close the program and begin the installation.

When the Installation is Complete dialog box appears, click Finish.

Run the Portico .Net Framework Detector again to make sure that the workstation meets the .Net Framework requirements.
