Share Draft Security Groups

To allow users to use share draft return and exception processing, you must assign the Operations – Share Draft – User, or a credit union-defined security group to your Portico users.

  1. On the Portico Explorer Bar, select Administration > Security > User Maintenance > Users.
  2. On the Users - List window, select the personnel that use the functionality. Then, select the Security Groups button.
  3. On the Security Groups window, select the desired security groups from the "Not a member of these user groups" list box. Then, select the left arrow.
  4. Select Save.
  5. Inform the users to log off and log back into Portico to view the new settings.

The pre-defined Operations – Share Draft – User security group contains the following list of permissions. You can also create your own security group using any of these permissions.

    Does not determine if Operations menu appears on explorer bar
  • Operations - Explorer Share Draft - Menu Option
    Determines if Operations menu with Share Draft option appears on explorer bar
