Commercial Loans Servicing

Portico features full integration with Commercial Loan Servicing from Fiserv. Commercial Loan Servicing (CLS) can help your credit union service commercial lines of credit, term loans, demand loans and real estate loans.

For information on adding Commercial Loan Servicing to your credit union, contact your Fiserv client partner. The CommercialLoanServicing option in the Application list in the Portico Help Desk lets you enable Commercial Loan Servicing for a credit union. The CommercialLoanServicingURL item key in the Profile List indicates the URL that should launch to access the Commercial Loan Servicing application.

On the Credit Union Profile - Loans tab, fields will be set up by your Fiserv implementation coordinator to activate CLS and define the default loan type, general ledger accounts, and back-office $teller.

On the Loan Profiles - Account Information tab, the Commercial Loan Servicing Loan check box indicates that the loan type is used for commercial loans on the CLS system.

Once CLS is activated for your credit union, additional menu options, icons and fields will appear in Portico.

Access to the menus and the new windows is controlled by the following permissions that are included in the Integrated Services – Commercial Loan Servicing – Administrator security group:

A Commercial Loan Servicing icon on the Overview - Activities tab provides access to the Commercial Loan Servicing application. Access to the CLS icon is controlled by the Integrated Services – User Can Access Commercial Loan Servicing security permission. This permission is included in the Integrated Services – Commercial Loan Servicing – Administrator security group and Integrated Services – Commercial Loan Servicing – Commercial Officer security group.

The ability to purge a CLS loan from Portico using the Purge Loan button is controlled by the IntegratedServices – CLS – Button – Purge Loan Information – Maintain security permission. This permission is included in the Integrated Services – Commercial Loan Servicing Administrator security group and Integrated Services – Commercial Loan Servicing – Commercial Officer security group.

The following permissions are included in the Integrated Services – Commercial Loan Servicing – User security group to allow you to use the Commercial Loans transaction.
