The Permissions dialog box lets you modify the default account access permissions for an online banking user. To display the Permissions dialog box, click the Permission Details button for a member in the Account Access Permissions grid on the Online Banking Maintenance dialog box.

The Member Number drop-down list is populated with the members listed in the Account Access Permissions grid. Select a member from the drop-down list and click the green arrow to view the account access permissions defined for that member's accounts. The member's name appears in the Name field.

Three tabs appear on the Permissions dialog box:

  • The Permissions - Inquiry tab lists the member accounts in which the online banking user has inquiry access to. You can give the online banking user the ability to view account details on the member's share, loan, credit card, and certificate accounts.
  • The Permissions - Financial tab lists the member accounts in which the online banking user has financial access to. You can give the online banking user the ability to transfer to, transfer from, or transfer to and from share, loan and credit card accounts.
  • The Permissions - External tab lists the member accounts in which the online banking user has external money movement access to. You can give the online banking user the ability to perform activities related to “external money movement” services like ACH, A2A and wire transfers.

On the Inquiry tab, you can clear the Allow check box to remove the online banking user's inquiry access to an account.

Member Linked by Taxpayer ID

The Inquiry Permissions grid displays the following information:

Allow

Select the Allow check box to give the online banking user inquiry access to the account. Clear the Allow check box to remove the online banking user's inquiry access to the account.

Type

The type of account:

C – Certificate

E - Education

K – Credit Card

L – Loan

M – Mortgage

S – Share or Share Draft

Account

The share type, loan note number or certificate type.

Description

The description of the account.

Account Indicator

The ownership type on the account. The valid values are:

A - Agency

B - Business

C - Corporate

D - Deferred Compensation

E - Estate

G - Guardianship or Custodial

I - Individual

J - Joint

M - UTMA (Uniform Transfer to Minors Act also known as UGMA)

O - Organization

P - Public Unit

T - Revocable Trust

U - Uninsurable

V - Irrevocable Trust

* - Miscellaneous

Relationship

The type of relationship the online banking user has on the account:

A - Authorized Signer

B - Sibling Beneficiary

C - Child Beneficiary

E - Executor

J- Joint

O - Other Beneficiary

P - Parent Beneficiary

S -Spouse Beneficiary

T - Trustee

U - Uninsurable

X - Owner of Funds

An asterisk * indicated that the account is owned directly by the primary member/online banking user.

The Future Account Inquiry Access Override group box appears if the member is not linked by taxpayer ID or is manually added to the Account Access Permissions grid.

Member Manually-Added or Not Linked by Taxpayer ID

The check boxes in the Future Account Inquiry Access Override group box allow you to automatically give the online banking user inquiry access to any newly opened accounts regardless of the relationship indicator.

  • Select the All Accounts check box to give the online banking user inquiry access to all accounts added by the member in the future, regardless of the online banking user's relationship on the account. [Keyword: IA (use with IZ keyword) and KA (use with KZ keyword)]
  • Select the Shares check box to give the online banking user inquiry access to all share accounts added by the member in the future, regardless of the online banking user's relationship on the account. [Keyword: IS (use with IZ keyword) and KS (use with KZ keyword)]
  • Select the Loans check box to give the online banking user inquiry access to all loans added by the member in the future, regardless of the online banking user's relationship on the account. [Keyword: IL (use with IZ keyword) and KL (use with KZ keyword)]
  • Select the Certificates check box to give the online banking user inquiry access to all certificates added by the member in the future, regardless of the online banking user's relationship on the account. [Keyword: IC (use with IZ keyword) and KC (use with KZ keyword)]
  • Select the Credit Cards check box to give the online banking user inquiry access to all credit card accounts added by the member in the future, regardless of the online banking user's relationship on the account. [Keyword: IK (use with IZ keyword) and KK (use with KZ keyword)]
  • Select the Mortgages check box to give the online banking user inquiry access to all mortgage loans added by the member in the future, regardless of the online banking user's relationship on the account. [Keyword: IM (use with IZ keyword) and KM (use with KZ keyword)]
  • Select the Education check box to give the online banking user inquiry access to all education loans added by the member in the future, regardless of the online banking user's relationship on the account. [Keyword: IE (use with IZ keyword) and KE (use with KZ keyword)]

On the Financial tab, you can add and delete the online banking user's financial access to an account.

The Grid Display Type group box lets you control the display of the Transfer Funds Permissions grid.

  • Click the From option to display the accounts in which the online banking user has permission to transfer funds from.
  • Click the To option to display the accounts in which the online banking user has permission to transfer funds to.
  • Click the Both option to display the accounts in which the online banking user has permission to transfer funds to and from.

The Transfer Funds Permissions grid displays the accounts in which the online banking user has permission to transfer funds to and from. Click Add to add a new account in which the online banking user has permission to transfer funds to and/or from.

Column Heading Description

Delete

Select the Delete check box and click Apply Changes to remove financial access to the account. You cannot delete a member account linked by taxpayer ID.

Disable

The Disabled column appears for member accounts linked by taxpayer ID. Select the Disabledcheck box and click Apply Changes to remove financial access to the linked account.

From Member

The member associated with the account in which the online banking user has permission to transfer funds from. If adding an account, click the down arrow to select the member from the drop-down list. The drop-down list is populated with the members listed in the Account Access Permissions grid.

From Account

The account in which the online banking user has permission to transfer funds from. If adding an account, click the down arrow to select the account from the drop-down list.

Keyword: FT (account type) and FA (account) - use with FY keyword

To Member

The member associated with the account in which the online banking user has permission to transfer funds to. If adding an account, click the down arrow to select the member from the drop-down list. The drop-down list is populated with the members listed in the Account Access Permissions grid.

Keyword: TM (use with FY keyword) and TN (use with FZ keyword)

To Account

The account in which the online banking user has permission to transfer funds to. If adding an account, click the down arrow to select the account from the drop-down list.

On the External tab, you can clear the Allow check box to remove the online banking user's external money movement access to an account.

The External Money Movement grid displays the following information:

Click Apply Changes to save any changes you make to the account access permissions. Click Cancel to close the Permissions dialog box without saving your changes.
