Payroll Security Groups
To allow users to access and use the windows available via the Operations - Payroll menu on the Portico Explorer Bar, you must assign the Operations – Payroll – User security group, or a credit union-defined security group to your users.
- On the Portico Explorer Bar, select Administration > Security > User Maintenance > Users.
- On the Users - List window, select the personnel that use the functionality. Then, select the Security Groups button.
- On the Security Groups window, select the desired security groups from the "Not a member of these user groups" list box. Then, select the left arrow.
- Select Save.
- Inform the users to log off and log back into Portico to view the new settings.
The Operations - Payroll- User security group contains the following permissions to support Payroll administration.
- Operations - Explorer Menu Option

To view and maintain member payroll information, users must be assigned to one of the following pre-defined security groups or you can create your own security groups. You can add these permissions to a credit union-defined security group using the Security Group Permissions – Update window.
