Issue: When testing checks the check format is not printing correctly.

Resolution: On the print server, click Tools, then click Application Profile. Click the Windows Service tab, then click the Printers tab. Click the Configure icon button for the printer with the issue. Click the Checks tab. In the Style group box, verify that the Continuous two page perforated option is selected.

Issue: Text does not print on page correctly when printing accounting reports.

Resolution: On the print server, click Tools, then click Application Profile. Click the Windows Service tab, then click the Printers tab. Click the Configure icon button for the printer with the issue. On the General tab, enter the printer INIT String “1B 26 6C 38 44 1B 26 6B 32 53” to format report output.

Issue: The check endorsement is printing too high on the check.

Resolution: On the Portico menu bar, click Tools, point to Profiles, point to Print Profile, and click Printers. On the Print Profile - Defined tab, click the Configure icon button for the Receipt printer. On the General tab, select the Offset endorsement print position check box in the Other group box.

 

Issue: The Physical Cash Count tab and Cash Movement tab are printing on the TMU printer, not the Windows Default Printer.

Resolution: On the Portico menu bar, click Tools, point to Profiles, point to Print Profile, and click Preferences. Click the Other tab. On the Print Profile - Preferences – Other tab, clear the Cash Movements to Receipt Printer check box.

Issue: After creating a local printer on the Print Appliance, access is denied or prompted for log on credentials to access.

Resolution: Go to the Windows XP workstation hosting the Shared Printer. Click Start, point to Control Panel, point to Administrative Tools, and click Local Security Policy. Expand the Local Policies folder and click the Security Options folder. Right-click the Network access: Let Everyone permissions apply to anonymous users policy. Click Properties. Click the Enable option. It is also a good idea to add the user ins to the local administrators group.

Issue: The following error is received while trying to print to a TMU375 printer.

Resolution: The Model field on the Print Profile - Defined tab was set to Generic Laser instead of TMU-375.

Resolution: Printer was deleted and re-added to the PC. The Defined list of printers must be refreshed and the printer must be re-added to the Assigned tab. (The shared name was different than the shared name in Print Profile.)

Issue: No receipt will print.

Resolution: Verify that the USS Transaction is set up correctly with StationID in the Receipt field. Verify that the Portico print field is Y. Verify that Print Receipts check box is selected on the Print Profile - Preferences - Receipts tab. Verify that the Receipts field is set to a value other than N on the Credit Union Profile - Print tab.
