The Products and Services tab appears when you click Next on the Eligibility Verification tab. The Products and Services tab lets you select the product and service bundles and/or individual products and services.

Click the Share Type down arrow to select the share type the member is opening (Keyword: ST). If the NMO Default Lowest Share Type check box is selected on the Credit Union Profile – Member tab, then the lowest share type available will appear in the Share Type field. You can leave the default option or select a different share type from the drop-down list.

Select the Deposit/Fee check box to open the New Member Share dialog box and process a deposit. If your credit union assesses a default new member setup fee, this check box will automatically be checked. The default fee amount is defined on the Product Code Information window for the fee product code (master code GIE).

In the Account Nickname field, enter a nickname for the account up to 38 alphanumeric characters.

Select the Opt in for ATM/Debit Card Processing and Fees check box if the member chooses to opt-in for overdraft processing of ATM and one-time debit card transactions. System default is not checked.

To select a bundle, select an available bundle in the Available Bundles list and click the right arrow to add it to the list of Elected Bundles. Select the Sel check box to select all the bundles in the Available Bundles list. When a bundle is selected and sent to the Elected Bundles box, the individual products and services of the bundle will appear in the Member Elected Products and Services box. If you selected the Allow Bundle Modification check box on the Bundle – Update window, your employees can remove specific products and services.

To select individual products, select one or more of the available products in the Available Products and Services list and click the right arrow to add it to the list of Member Elected Products and Services. Select the Sel check box to select all the products in the Available Products and Services list. The Member Elected Products and Services list determines which sub-tabs will be available for completion under the Services Detail tab. To remove products and services from the Member Elected Products and Services list, select one or all of the member elected products and click the left arrow to add it back to the list of Available Products and Services.

If Overdraft Protection is selected as a new service, Portico will default the member’s lowest share account as the overdraft account for the share draft account on the Services Detail tab.

If I unintentionally remove part of a bundle from the Member Elected Products and Services box, how do I get it back? A complete list of products and services will appear in the Available Products and Services box. You can select the product or service and click the right arrow to add it to the Member Elected Products and Services box.

Since the Available Products and Services box will not be filtered with the bundled items, what if the Member Elected Products and Services box has duplicates? If you select more than one bundle and a duplicate product or service appears, Portico will remove the first duplicate.

What if the member changes their mind on a bundle-related product or service after I am on the Services Details tab? You will need to return to the Products and Services tab and remove the item from the Member Elected Products and Services box.

What happens when a share/share draft/certificate type becomes inactive but still appears in a bundle? The inactive share/share draft or certificate types will not appear in the drop-down list on the New Share dialog box, but your credit union administrator will need to remove the inactive product from the bundle.

What if a bundle has two share draft types, but lists Courtesy Pay once, will I be able to set up Courtesy Pay for both share drafts? Yes, Courtesy Pay only has to be listed once and all share drafts can be set up.

In order for a specific share or share draft type to be included in the bundle on the Products and Services window, you must set up the account type correctly on the Products and Services – Update window. For share types, you must select a classification from the Share Class drop-down list on the Products and Services – Update window. For share draft types, you must select Yes from the Share Draft drop-down list on the Products and Services – Update window.

Click Next to continue with the next the step of the application or click Save/Release to save the application for completion at a later date. Click Back to move back to the previous tab.
