History Field Help

Click the Type of History down arrow to select the type of history to review. Then, click the green arrow. The valid options are:

Use the following fields to refine your search criteria:

To specify a date range:

  • Click the Earliest Date/Begin Date down arrow to select the earliest date of history to review from the calendar or enter the date in MM/DD/YYYY format. Keyword: BD / Safe Deposit Box Keyword: SE
  • Click the Latest Date/End Date down arrow to select the latest date of history to review from the calendar or enter the date in MM/DD/YYYY format. Keyword: ED / Safe Deposit Box Keyword: EE

To specify an amount range:

  • In the Begin Amount field, enter the lowest amount in the transaction history range you wish to review (Length: 12 numeric including decimal).
  • In the End Amount field, enter the highest amount in transaction history range you wish to review (Length: 12 numeric including decimal).

To specify a CAN range:

  • In the Begin CAN field, enter the lowest CAN in the transaction history you wish to review (Length: 5 numeric).
  • In the End CAN field, enter the highest CAN in the transaction history you wish to review (Length: 5 numeric).

To specify a draft number range:

  • In the Begin Draft Nbr field, enter the lowest draft number in the transaction history you wish to review (Length: 6 numeric).
  • In the End Draft Nbr field, enter the highest draft number in transaction history you wish to review (Length: 6 numeric).

Click the As of Date down arrow to select a date from the pop-up calendar or enter the date in MM/DD/YYYY format. Click the right arrow to move to the next date. Click the left arrow to move to the previous date.

Click the Account Type down arrow to select the type of accounts to review (Keyword: AT).

Click the Account ID down arrow to select a specific share type, note number or certificate number. Click the ATM/Debit ID down arrow to select a specific ATM ID or Debit ID. (Length: 7 alphanumeric/Non-Financial Transaction Keyword: AN) For a member's credit card number, the first nine digits represent the credit card processor's BIN and are associated with a credit union-specified loan type. The last seven digits represent the member's account with the credit card processor and is used by Portico in place of a note number. Credit Card Length: 16 numeric/Credit Card Keyword: CE

Click the Debit ID down arrow to select the debit ID.

The Share Type field contains the share type corresponding to the share draft NSF/return or debit ID that you wish to review (Length: 2 alphanumeric/Keyword: TP).

Click the Txn Source down arrow to select the method or channel that was used to attempt the transaction: All Sources, ATM, Bill Pay, POS, Self Service, or Shared Branch.

  • If the Txn Source field is All Sources, completed and denied transactions will appear. You can select a unique ATM or debit ID from the ATM/Debit ID drop-down list to view only the transactions associated with that specific ID.
  • If the Txn Source field is ATM, completed and denied ATM transactions will appear. You can select a a unique ATM or debit ID from the ATM/Debit ID drop-down list to view only the transactions associated with that specific ID.
  • If the Txn Source field is Bill Pay, completed and denied bill pay transactions will appear.
  • If the Txn Source field is POS, completed and denied POS transactions will appear. You can select a unique ATM or debit ID from the ATM/Debit ID drop-down list to view only the transactions associated with that specific ID.
  • If the Txn Source field is Self Service, denied online banking or audio response transactions will appear.
  • If the Txn Source field is Shared Branch, denied Shared Service Center transactions will appear.

In the Amount field, enter the appropriate amount based on the type of history (Length: 12 numeric including decimal/Keyword: AM).

  • Check Cashing History: The amount of the check cashed that you wish to review. The system will search both the check total and cash amount fields for the value entered. Keyword: AM
  • Credit Card Transaction History: The amount of the credit card payment or advance that you wish to review. Keyword: AM
  • ACH NSF/Return History: The amount of the ACH NSF/return that you wish to review.
  • Share Draft NSF/Return History: The amount of the share draft NSF/return that you wish to review.

In the Draft Number field, enter the specific draft serial number of the share draft NSF/return. More than one entry will appear if the draft has been rejected more than one time. Length: 6 numeric/Keyword: SR

In the OFI R/T field, enter the routing and transit number of the originating financial institution associated with the ACH NSF/Return. Enter the OFI routing and transit number to search for all rejected transactions with this number listed in date order. Length: 8 numeric/Keyword: OR

In the Transaction field, enter the Portico host transaction code you wish to review. Length: 3 alphanumeric/Keyword: TC

In the Teller ID field, enter the teller ID associated with the transaction that you wish to review. Length: 2 alphanumeric/Keyword: TL

Click the Desc Type down arrow to select the description type you wish to review (Keyword: DE). The valid options are:

  • No Description - Do not display the transaction description information.
  • Reg E - Display the Regulation E description information on the second line for each EFT transaction. This is the same information that prints on the member's statement for EFT transaction(s).
  • Mbr Stmt - Display description information other than Regulation E on the second line for each transaction. This is the same information that prints on the member's statement.
  • Reg E and Mbr Stmt - Display both Regulation E description information and other description information on the second line for each transaction. This is the same information that prints on the member's statement.
  • Expanded Trace - Display the expanded 17-digit trace number on the second line for each paid draft transaction. This is the same information that prints on the member's statement. This information will not print if the SHR DRAFT SUMMARY field is Y on the 390 Report Rules. This option also displays the value '4' if the check is a substitute going forward and the value '5' if the check is a substitute being returned.

If Mbr Stmt or Reg E and Mbr Stmt is selected, the old and new interest rates will appear on the description line of the history entry for an automated rate change (Loan Adjustable Rate Mortgage/Variable Rate Change window). The history code RC will identify the entry as a Portico Host 070 Transaction. Also, loan advances which have the history code LA will show both the old and new rates.

EFT transactions appear with a Y in the EFT column.

For share/share draft financial transaction history, select the Show Reg D Activity check box to display Reg D transaction activity.

Select the Show EFT Activity check box to display EFT activity.

Select the Show Denials Only check box to display denied transactions only.

Select the Show Reversals Only check box to display reversed transactions only.

  • Select the Descending Date Order option to sort the history in descending date order. Displays newest transactions first. For financial transaction history, the system displays the transactions in this order: certificates (from highest CD type to lowest), loans (from highest loan type to lowest), share drafts (from highest share type to lowest), and then shares (from highest share type to lowest). For share draft/NSF history, the system displays the highest-numbered share draft type and the newest non-sufficient record first.
  • Select the Ascending Date Order option to sort the history in ascending date order. Displays oldest transactions first. For share draft/NSF history, the system displays the lowest-numbered share draft type and the oldest non-sufficient funds record first.

Keyword: OR

Click the Txn Type down arrow to select the transaction type you wish to review: All Transactions, Deposits & Payments, and Withdrawals & Advances.

For loans, selecting Deposits & Payments will retrieve any loan financial activity where the principal portion of the loan transaction is less than or equal to 0.00 (principal portions of loan payments are displayed as a negative value in the Financial Transaction History grid). Selecting Withdrawals & Advances will retrieve any loan financial activity where the principal portion of the loan transaction is greater than 0.00 (principal portions of loan advances are displayed as a positive value in the Financial Transaction History grid).

To look up a member’s history using their old member number, select the Display History for check box, then enter the old member number. Old member number records remain on Portico the same length of time your credit union elects to retain history. For example, if you credit union retains 200 days of history, you will be able to look up old member numbers for 200 days. Draft accounts contain up to 45 days of history. The Credit Union Profile - History/Reversals tab contains the history preferences for the credit union.

Click Reset to clear the selection criteria and begin a new search.

Select Search to use the selection criteria specified to search for history.

If your credit card processor is Credit Processing Solutions and you have set up Credit Processing Solutions integration, you can access credit card history by clicking the Credit Processing Solutions History icon button on the History – Credit Card Transaction History tab.

If your credit union uses Nautilus Essentials, you can retrieve a copy of the member's statement from the Financial Transaction History tab. Click the statement retrieval button to open the Statement Retrieval dialog box. On the Statement Retrieval dialog box, select a Statement Type and Statement Date. Then, click Retrieve Statement.

Click the print icon button to print the history. The Portico - Printer IDs dialog box appears. For financial transaction history, click the print icon button to display the Print Member History dialog box and print the contents of the Financial Transaction History grid. On the printed financial transaction history, an E indicates that the history item is an EFT item, while an R indicates that the item is a reversal.

Click the view documents icon button to access the associated documents in Nautilus Essentials.

Click the Exception Codes icon button to display the return and exception codes found in the history.

Click the Exception Codes icon button to display the return and exception codes found in the history.

Select the ACH or share draft item and click Delete to delete it from NSF/Return History.

The History grid displays a summary of a member’s past financial and non-financial transactions based on the history type selected and the search criteria specified. Click the Export icon to export the grid contents to Microsoft Excel. Click More to view additional notice history.

Financial Transaction History and Alternate Financial Transaction History

The Financial Transaction History grid displays a summary of a member’s past financial transactions.

Column Heading Description

Expand All/Collapse All

Select the Expand All check box to expand all the rows or click the plus button to expand an individual row and view the history code and statement description.

Type

The type of transaction history: D = Draft, L = Loan, S = Share, and C = Certificate. The system will display a button in the Type column when one of the following ACH transaction codes appears in the Txn column: AC, ACE, AD, ADE, AN, ANE, AL, ALE, AP, APE, or LX. Click the D button to display the ACH History Inquiry dialog box.

Reporting Analytics: Loan Type (Located in Loan/Member Loan History subject and History/Member Financial History subject)

ID

The share type if the Type column is S or D. The note number if the Type column is L. The certificate number if the Type column is C.

Post Date

The date the transaction was posted. If the SELECT DATE field on the 390 Report Rules specifies 1 (use business date), the network settlement date for an ATM transaction appears on the member's statement, but the actual date the ATM transaction occurred appears in history.

Time

The time the transaction was posted.

As transactions are processed from multiple channels across the country (online banking, ATM, teller line, Shared Branching, etc.), all transaction timestamps are standardized to central standard time (CST). The time stamp is a key component in the overall sequencing of transactions to insure the order in which the member balance is impacted and the order in which the transactions were actually completed. If a credit union has branches in multiple times zones, the timestamps are the same regardless of which branch views the transactions or processes the transactions. The time stamp stored with system will always be CST. Portico does provide a branch-level option to adjust the time stamp printed on the member receipt.

Effective Date

The effective date of the transaction.

TL

The teller ID of the teller that performed the transaction.

TL BR

The branch where the transaction was performed.

R/Rev

Indicates if the transaction was a reversal.

CAN

The CAN assigned to the transaction.

Transaction Amount

The amount of the transaction.

After Balance

The balance of the account after the transaction.

Draft Nbr/Interest

The draft number associated with the transaction, if any. If your credit union uses Virtual Branch Links, you can access share and loan draft images from the Financial Transaction History tab. Click the underlined draft number to view an image of the draft. For loans, this column can display a loan draft number or the loan interest.

IRS Code/Late Charge

The IRS code associated with the transaction, if any. For loans, this column can display the late charge assessed the loan.

Txn Code

The Portico Host transaction code or history code associated with the transaction. You can hover over a cell in the Txn column to display a tool tip containing the history code description, without expanding the row.

Share Fee

The fee amount posted to the share account.

Refund

The refund amount disbursed with the transaction.

Reporting Analytics: Refund Amount (Member Financial History subject in the History folder and Member Share History subject in the Share Folder)

Loan Principal

The amount of the loan payment that went to loan principal, or the principal amount of the loan advance. The principal amount of a loan payment will appear as a negative value.

Loan Interest

The amount of the loan payment that went to loan interest.

Late Charge/Fee

The late charge assessed the loan.

View

Click the view receipt icon button to display an image of the signed receipt or the scanned check or document. (Portico Print only).

A view details icon button will appear when a detail record exists for the self service transaction. Click the view details icon button to display the Self Service Transaction Information dialog box.

EFT

Indicates if the transaction was an EFT transaction.

Rg D

Indicates if the transaction incremented the Period-to-Date Reg D Txns counter on the Shares - Activity tab.

Reporting Analytics: REG D Flag (Located in Share/Member Share History subject and History/Member Financial History subject)

History Code Description

The history code description.

Statement Description

The statement describing the type of transaction. The description can be system generated or manually entered by a credit union user.

For travel-related POS purchases, the statement description will include any travel-related charge that was procured at the same time of the ticket purchase. Travel-related charges for upgrades, meals purchased, or bags will be listed with their charge amount. If the additional charges exceeds the statement message limit, an additional zero dollar transaction will be listed including the remaining charges. The ticket number will be used as a reference to tie zero dollar transactions to the original ticket purchase transaction.

For ACH items, the Statement Description field will display the company name, effective date, and batch description for fees assessed for paid or returned ACH items when posting the fees online. For incoming Person-to-Person (P2P) transactions using the code ‘WEB,’ the sender’s name will appear in the Individual ID field on the ACH History Inquiry dialog box for the incoming transaction. To help your members determine where a transaction originated, Portico will move the name from the Individual ID field to the Statement Description field in the member's financial transaction history.

Trace Number

The 17-digit draft trace number for a share draft or loan draft.

IRD

The Image Replacement Document code associated with all share and loan drafts.

Draft R/T

The draft route and transit number associated with the transaction.

Reporting Analytics: SD Route Transit (Located in History/Member Financial History subject and Share/Member Share History subject)

Draft ID

The share or loan draft ID associated with the transaction.

Reporting Analytics: Shr Draft ID (Located in History/Member Financial History subject and Share/Member Share History subject)

Check Cashing History

The Check Cashing History grid displays a summary of a member’s previous check cashing transactions. On-us checks and the computer-assigned numbers (CANs) associated with check cashing transactions will only appear on the History - Check Cashing History tab for checks cashed using the Transactions - Deposits, Withdrawals, Payments, Transfers tab for credit unions using Teller Administration.

Column Heading Description

Date

The date the check was cashed.

Time

The time the check was cashed.

CAN

The CAN assigned to the transaction.

Check Total

The total amount of the check that was cashed. This does not include on us check clearing or 'cash back' from a transaction when making a deposit, loan payment etc. On-us checks processed through soft holds will appear in the Check Total column.

Length: 12 numeric

On Us Check Total

The total amount of the on-us check that was cashed. This does not include 'cash back' from a transaction when making a deposit, loan payment etc.

Length: 12 numeric

Cash Amount

The cash amount disbursed when the member cashed a check. The cash amount may be equal to the check amount or less than the check amount, if a fee was charged during the transaction.

Length: 12 numeric

Teller ID

The teller number associated with the cashed check.

Length: 2 alphanumeric

Branch

The branch where the check was cashed.

Length: 3 numeric

Credit Card Transaction History

The Credit Card Transaction History grid displays a summary of a member’s past credit card payments.

Column Heading Description

Post to Account

The credit card number associated with the transaction. Credit card numbers are partially masked. The first 6 numbers of the account number represent the type of card (i.e., MASTERCARD Gold, MASTERCARD Silver, VISA Gold, VISA Classic, etc.). The first nine digits represent the credit card processor's BIN and are associated with a credit union-specified loan type. The last seven digits represent the member's account with the credit card processor and is used by Portico in place of a note number.

Post Date

The date the transaction was posted.

Effective Date

The effective date of the transaction. For credit unions not using CPS or CSC, credit card payments made after the current day's cutoff time will be transmitted to a vendor on the next business day, but effective dated the day of the actual transaction.

Keyword: ED

Teller ID

The teller number associated with the transaction.

Txn Code

The Txn Code column will display CC when a credit card payment is made, CV when a credit card cash advance is made, RP when a payment is reversed and RV when an advance is reversed. A tool tip helps you identify the transaction type.

CAN

The CAN assigned to the transaction. This number helps identify the transaction for auditing purposes. The CAN is assigned sequentially by the system.

Keyword: AN

Transaction Amount

The amount of the credit card transaction.

Length: 12 numeric including decimal

Keyword: SP

Details

Indicates if the payment/advance has been sent to CPS or CSC. The enabled icon indicates that a credit card payment or advance has been sent to CPS/CSC for processing. If the details icon is disabled, this indicates the credit card payment or advance has not been sent to CPS/CSC. Click the icon in the Details column to display the Transmittal Information dialog box.

Non-Financial History Grid

The Non-Financial History grid displays a member’s past non-financial activity.

The Portico Host transaction code associated with the transaction.

Txn Date

The date of the transaction.

Txn Time

The time the transaction occurred.

TL

The teller number associated with the transaction.

Branch

The branch associated with the transaction.

CAN

The CAN assigned to the transaction.

Account ID

The account ID associated with the transaction. Additions, changes and deletions to ACH origination items display the ACH batch ID and the last 2 digits of the item number in the Account ID column.

Last Teller

The teller number associated with the last non-financial transaction.

Last Txn Date

The date of the last non-financial transaction.

Txn Rev

Indicates if the transaction was a reversal.

Field Description

The name or description of the field that was maintained.

Before

The original value in the field.

After

The new value in the field. When an ACH origination item is deleted the word DELETED will display in the After column.

ACH Exception/Return History

The ACH Exception/Return History grid displays a member’s past ACH exception/return activity.

Column Heading Description

Delete

Select the Delete check box and click Delete to the delete the ACH NSF/return item.

Date

The date the ACH item was rejected and appeared on the 170 Report and ACH Exception Items window.

Txn

The NACHA transaction code associated with the ACH item. The system will convert the incoming ACH transaction code to the appropriate transaction code. Valid options are:

05 - Loan Advance

22 - Credit to share draft/checking - valid for micro-entries, valid receiving transaction for same-day outgoing ACH credit item

23 - Prenote or ENR of credit to share draft checking

24 - Acknowledgment to share draft/checking

27 - Debit to share draft/checking - valid for micro-entries, valid back-office transaction for Person-to-Person (P2P) credit transactions and same-day outgoing ACH debit items.

28 - Prenote of debit to share draft/checking - valid receiving transaction for micro-entries, frequency must be Request, and effective date must be 3 business days in the future.

32 - Credit to shares/savings - valid for micro-entries, valid receiving transaction for same-day outgoing ACH credit item

33 - Prenote or ENR of credit to shares/savings

34 - Acknowledgment to shares/savings

37 - Debit to shares/savings - valid for micro-entries, valid back-office transaction for Person-to-Person (P2P) credit transactions and same-day outgoing ACH debit items.

38 - Prenote of debit to shares/savings - valid receiving transaction for micro-entries, frequency must be Request, and effective date must be 3 business days in the future.

42 - Automated general ledger deposit (credit) - valid receiving transaction for same-day outgoing ACH credit item

43 - Prenotification of general ledger credit authorization

47 - Automated general ledger payment (debit) - valid back-office transaction for same-day outgoing ACH debit items.

48 - Prenotification of general ledger debit authorization

52 - Automated loan account deposit (credit) - valid receiving transaction for same-day outgoing ACH credit item

53 - Prenotification of loan account credit authorization

54 - Acknowledgment to loan

55 - Debit to loan (reversal only)

Keyword: TC

Acct Type

The type of account associated with the ACH item.

E/C

The error code associated with the ACH exception/return item.

Co Name

The name of the originating financial institution as it should appear at the receiving institution.

The company name, OFI, and/or company ID can be used as the criteria for posting ACH. The company name can be used in addition to the OFI and/or company ID to post ACH or in place of the OFI and/or company ID. You can leave this field blank if posting by company ID and/or OFI.

To post by company name only on the Member Transfer File Information dialog box, specify the company name in this field. The company name must be an exact match to the company name appearing on the ACH file. Leave the Originating Financial Institution and Company ID fields blank.

On the ACH Processing Options window:

  • To post by company name only, specify the company name in this field. The company name must be an exact match to the company name appearing on the ACH file. Leave the Originating Financial Institution field blank. In the Company ID field, enter zeroes. The Post by Company Name check box must be selected on the Credit Union Profile – ACH/Payroll tab to post ACH items through the post by company name only table first.
  • To post by batch description, specify the batch description in this field. The batch description must be an exact match to the batch description appearing on the ACH file. Leave the Originating Financial Institution field blank. In the Company ID field, enter zeroes. The Post by Batch Description check box must be selected on the Credit Union Profile – ACH/Payroll tab to post ACH items through the post by batch description table first. If the Match On field is Batch Description on the ACH Processing Options window, Portico will only allow 10 characters in the field.

Keyword: CN

Co ID

The unique company ID of the originator of the ACH transaction. The originator can be the credit union or the company sending the ACH item. For ACH scheduled transfers, you can leave this field blank if posting by company name and/or OFI. On the ACH Processing Options window, enter zeroes in this field if posting by company name or batch description.

Length: 10 alphanumeric

Keyword: CI

Amount

The amount of this ACH transaction. A valid ACH transaction amount can be 0 through 99,999,999.99.

Length: 11 numeric including decimal

Keyword: AM

You can view the available balance after posting the item by moving your mouse over the Amount field.

OFI R/T

The routing and transit number of the originating financial institution for an ACH transaction. You can leave this field blank if posting by company name and/or company ID. If left blank, Portico will populate the field with zeroes.

Draft #

The serial number associated with the ACH item.

Length: 15 alphanumeric

Trace #

The trace number assigned by the originating institution.

Proc Dt

The date the ACH exception/return was processed.

Share Draft Exception/Return History

The Share Draft Exception/Return History grid displays a member’s past share draft exception/return activity.

Column Heading

Description

Delete

Select the Delete check box and click Delete to the delete the share draft NSF/return. Add the ShDraft-Return History-User Can Delete Draft Return History security permission to a security group to give the users assigned to that security group the ability to delete Share Draft NSF/return history using the Delete check box and Delete button. Otherwise, the Delete check box and Delete button will not appear.

SH

The share type associated with the share draft exception/return.

Date

The date the share draft was rejected.

TL

The teller number of the teller who used the New Return Item window to dd the non-sufficient or returned draft to the Share Draft Exception/Return History grid or the ID of the teller who returned the draft with a valid return code using the Share Draft Exception Items window. The teller ID BO appears in this field if the record was added during the back-office cycle's share draft processing.

E/C

The exception code assigned to an item by the back office system. This code explains why the item was rejected or a paid exception. For a list of valid exception codes, click here.

Draft #

The share draft number associated with the share draft/NSF return.

Amount

The amount of the share draft exception/return. You can view the available balance after posting the item by moving your mouse over the Amount field.

Draft ID

The share draft ID associated with the share draft exception/return. You can hover your cursor over the draft ID to display the route and transit number associated with the draft ID.

Reporting Analytics: SHR DFT ID (NSF History of Share Draft Return subject in the History folder, and All NSF History of Share Draft Return subject in the History\All History folder)

Trace #

The trace number assigned to the share draft by the originating financial institution.

IRD

The Image Replacement Document (IRD) Code if the check is a substitute item. A substitute check is a paper reproduction of the original check. The valid values are:

Blank - Original draft. System default.
2 - Qualified return of the original draft
4 - IRD draft
5 - Qualified return of an IRD draft

R/C

The return code associated with the share draft NSF/return. Click here for a list of valid return codes.

Ret TL

The ID of the teller who returned the share draft.

Ret Date

The date the share draft was returned to the item processor.

Debit Card Hold History Grid

The Debit Card Information group box displays:

  • The total amount on hold for this share type. Length: 12 numeric including decimal
  • The number of days before the holds expire if no settlement transaction is received. Length: 2 numeric
  • The total debit hold amount for this debit ID.

The Debit Card Hold History grid displays a member’s past debit card hold activity.

Column Heading Description

Date

The date of the debit hold.

Time

The time the pre-authorization occurred.

Merchant Identification

The merchant that originated the debit hold.

Status

Indicates if the hold is Active or Not Active:

  • Active indicates that the hold is active. It has not been settled, deleted by a teller, or expired by the date in the As of Date field. The authorization amount is included in the totals.
  • Not Active indicates that the hold is not active. It has been settled, deleted by a teller, or expired by the date in the As of Date field. The authorization amount is not included in the totals.

Amount

The amount of the debit hold. This amount will be held against the member's share available funds until a settlement transaction is received or this authorization expires.

Length: 9 numeric including decimal

Self Service Transaction History

The Self Service Transaction History grid displays a summary of a member’s past self service transactions.

The date the transaction was posted.

Txn Time

The time the transaction was posted.

Txn Type

The type of self-service withdrawal request. Valid values are:

  • ATM Deposit

Amount

The amount of the transaction.

Indicates if the transaction was a reversal.

Available

The available balance of the account.

Actual Balance

The actual balance of the account.

Post Method

Indicates whether the transaction posted using available funds or required an overdraft method to post. Valid values are:

  • Available Funds - The full amount of the transaction was authorized or a partial amount of the transaction was authorized using the minimum partial approval amount for the share type.

Fee

The amount of the fee posted to the share account as a result of the account’s insufficient funds status at the time of withdrawal. This field will be blank for Pre-Authorizations, Denials and Reversals. The amount will be 0.00 when a fee was not posted at the time of withdrawal. Fee reversals are shown as a negative amount.

View

A view details icon button will appear when a detail record exists for the self service transaction. Click the view details icon button to display the Self Service Transaction Information dialog box.

Card ID

The ATM or debit ID.

Card Acceptor Identification

The information received as merchant identification on a debit card or bill pay request, or the terminal identification received on an ATM withdrawal request.

CAN

The CAN assigned to the transaction.

Denial Reason

The reason the transaction was denied.

The Summary Information group box provide the following information on the member's Account Analysis:

Field Description

Master Account Analysis Share Draft

The master share draft account associated with the member's Account Analysis. Portico will automatically charge the master share draft account for any fees assessed through Account Analysis.

Cost of Service 12 Month

The total amount of Account Analysis fees incurred over last 12 rolling months. The number of rolling months based on the History Retention field in the Account Analysis section on the Credit Union Profile - Products & Services tab.

Earnings Credit 12 Month

The total earnings credit allowance over last 12 rolling months. The number of rolling months based on the History Retention field in the Account Analysis section on the Credit Union Profile - Products & Services tab.

Cost of Service Year-to-Date

The total cost of the services provided to the member year-to-date.

Profit/Loss Year-to-Date

The difference between year-to-date earnings credit allowance and year-to-date costs of services for the member. If the earnings credit allowance exceeds the costs of services, the amount is positive (profit). If the costs exceed the earnings credit allowance, the amount is negative (loss).

Earnings Credit Year-to-Date

The total earnings credit allowance year-to-date.

Actual Charges Year-to-Date

The total fee amount assessed through Account Analysis year-to-date.

The Account Analysis History grid displays the average collected balance, cost of services, earnings credit allowance, actual charges, Account Analysis plan, and charge type for the past 12 months.

Column Heading Description

Month/Year

The month and year of the analysis.

Avg Collected Balance

The monthly average balance less any check holds over the month. The average collected balance is used to calculate the member's earning credit allowance. If negative, the earnings credit allowance is .00.

Cost of Services

The total cost of the services provided to the member. This is a combined amount of all the member share draft accounts included in the Account Analysis process.

Earnings Credit Allowance

The earnings credit allowance for each month of the member's Account Analysis relationship. The following calculation is used to determine the earnings credit allowance:

Average Balance - Check Holds = Average Collected
Average Collected * Reserve Rate = Reserve Requirement
Average Collected - Reserve Requirement = Investable Balance
Investable Balance * Earnings Rate = Annual Earnings Credit
Annual Earnings Credit/365 (366 if leap year) = Earnings Credit Per Day
Earnings Credit Per Day * 31 (28, 29 or 30) = Earnings Allowance

Actual Charge

The actual monthly fees assessed the member.

Plan

The member's Account Analysis plan.

Charge Type

The charge type associated with the member's Account Analysis plan. If the Charge Type is Soft Dollar or Flat Fee, all event driven activity will be captured and accumulated for a potential analysis fee. If the Charge Type is Hard Dollar, all event driven activity will be captured through the analysis process to generate an analysis for future reference. The member is 'hard dollar' charged at event time for regular fees/services provided through daily Portico processing.

Safe Deposit Box Event History

The Safe Deposit Box Event History grid displays the dates, times, and individuals who last accessed the safe deposit box.

Location

The credit union branch number where the safe deposit box is located.

The credit union-defined ID associated with the safe deposit box.

The date the event occurred for the safe deposit box.

  • Box Comment
  • Box Accessed

ID Rendered

The type of ID presented for verification of the owner or co-owner.

ID Number

The ID number associated with ID used for verification of the owner or co-owner.

View ID

Portico masks driver license numbers. You can click the icon button to display a pop up window containing the driver license number. Portico will log each time a user clicks the icon button to view a driver license number in the View Sensitive Data Audit report.

Accessed By

The name of the owner or co-owner who last accessed the safe deposit box.

Length: 26 alphanumeric

Sig

If a red check mark appears, a signature was obtained from the owner or co-owner.

Add'l Info

If a Key Status Change has occurred or a comment has been added, an icon will appear in the Add’l Info column. Click the icon and a pop up window will display the change.

Safe Deposit Box Payment History

The Safe Deposit Box Payment History grid reports payments made using the Cash/Check Payment tab on the Assign/Maintain Safe Deposit Box dialog box or made via Transfer File. Payments made using any other transactions will not be retained in the safe deposit box payment history.

CAN

The computer-assigned number associated with the payment transaction.

Txn Amount

The payment amount for the safe deposit box. If the cash, check or share transfer transaction is reversed, a negative amount will appear. Payments made via Transfer File cannot be reversed.

Payment Method

The method of payment. The valid values are:

  • Auto Transfer if the box fee was paid by Transfer File
  • Cash if the box fee was paid by cash
  • Check if the box fee was paid by check
  • Both – Cash & Check if the box fee was paid by cash and check
  • Transfer from Share if the box fee was paid by transfer from the share/share draft account
Payment Source

If the payment method is Auto Transfer, the Payment Source column could include a description:

  • M -Multiple share accounts will be displayed if the Transfer From – Selection Type/Method field is P – Allow transfer to be made from multiple share accounts and the Account Type/ID 1-5 fields have accounts listed.
  • The share type will be displayed if the Transfer From – Account Type/ID field 1 has an account listed.

If the payment method is Share Transfer, the Payment Source column will display the share type where the funds came. The Cash/Check Payment tab on the Assign/Maintain Safe Deposit Box dialog box must be used to transfer the payment from the member share account for the safe deposit box. If a different transaction in Portico is used, the transaction will not be recorded in the safe deposit box payment history.

If the payment method is Both – Cash & Check, Cash, or Check, the Payment Source column will be blank.
